Self-driving buses improve journey times and quality of service for customers while also reducing energy consumption and emissions.

Successful Trials of Zhongtong Autonomous Buses
So far, Zhongtong intelligent bus went for a trial run in the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone, Tianjin University, Heze, Jiaxin, etc. Smart transportation is the key to the Smart City. Since 2016, Zhongtong Bus has been exploring and developing Automated Driving Technology, Internet of Vehicles, etc. With dedicated teams and advancements in autonomous technology, we have successively rolled out four generations of autonomous buses with Level 4.

Zhongtong self-driving buses made great achievements in the automotive industry. We are very proud to list below:

• In September 2020, Zhongtong intelligent bus won the first prize in the China's Autonomous Bus Competition.
• In December 2020, our self-driving bus got the first provisional driving license for trial run on road in Shandong. It cleared 80000km on-road testing. The testing result shows that the bus is completely able to operate on open road, delivering a secure, smooth and comfortable ride for passengers.
• In 2021, Zhongtong received the orders of autonomous buses from Beijing, Tianjin, Jiaxing, Suzhou, Heze, etc. 12 autonomous buses successively went for a trial run around China. After getting the provisional driving license, the autonomous buses continuously undertook on-road testing. During the driving test, various types of data were collected to optimize the Automated Driving Technology, which enables us lead the trends of self-driving technology in China.
